Simi Garewal to return with new show

MUMBAI: Actress-TV host Simi Garewal on Thursday said she will be back on television hosting her own show soon.
 
"'Rendezvous with Simi Garewal' is history. The show was in English and for half-an-hour. My new show 'Simi Garewal show' would be in Hindi and would be one hour long," she said.
 
She declined to reveal details of the new show saying that the concept was ready and production work was currently underway.
 
"The show will not be restricted to interviews of just film celebrities. Just wait...it will be very exciting," she said.
 
When asked about her plans for big screen, Simi said she was working on it. "You will hear about it soon," she said and refused to say whether she will be back as actress or producer-director.
 
To a question on Urmila Matondkar playing her role in the remake of  original 'Karz', Simi said Urmila was a very competent actress.
 
"I have seen her perform some difficult roles. Even the one in 'Karz' is difficult. I know she will do justice to it," she said.
