Percept Picture Company (PPC), known for producing wide range of films, will collaborate with David Dhawan to make a film on orangutan, south-east Asian ape.

MUMBAI: Percept Picture Company (PPC), known for producing wide range of films, will collaborate with David Dhawan to make a film on orangutan, south-east Asian ape.

The film titled 'Come On Pappu' will have an orangutan in the lead with other characters revolving round it.

It will go on floors sometime in 2009. PPC is growing big as the company and will release as many as 19 films of various genres by the end of 2009. The most significant among them is 'Come On Pappu', informed official sources.

The company has also roped in directors like Madhur Bhandarkar, Nagesh Kukunoor, Priyadarshan among others for various films.

"We have good relations with Kukunoor, Bhandarkar and Priyadarshan. They will be making more than three films for us in a year" said the official.

Kukunoor's 'Aashayein' is almost ready and will be released by September followed by Akshay Kumar starrer 'Tasveer' that will be released early next year. There will be another film with Kukunoor which we will be announced next month.

Bhandarkar's 'Jail' has already been announced and is schedule to hit the marquee May 1, 2009 and PPC plans to make another film with the director.

The company is also planning various animation films. A sequel to 'Hanuman' titled 'Return of Ravana-Hanuman 3' tops the list followed by 'Prince of Love', 'Ganesha'  'Neel and the Five Warriors' and a mythological film on Krishna.

Then there is 'Prince of Love' that will be written and directed by Kamlesh Pandey and its animation will be done at DQ Animation in Hyderabad.

PPC teams up with Toons Animation and DQ for all the animation films.

In 2008 PPC has released films like 'Khuda Kay Liye', 'Jannat' and 'Hancock' and is looking forward to 'Ugly and Pagli', which is releasing July 25.
