LONDON: British DJ-producer Mark Ronson caused mayhem at Britain's ZOO8 music festival when he demanded to be paid £9,000 of his fee in cash.
Thesun.co.uk reports that the organisers had to scram to get the money because they hadn't planned to pay the artists up front.
A source said: "Everyone was running around with wads of cash. He was almost going to pull the plug, but he didn't want to let his fans down. In the end, he was given masses of loose change."
To add to the problems, other artists also pulled out of the event. The festival co-director Danny Blanche said: "We miscalculated the cash flow. And so it required us to cancel a few acts."
