The crew and stars of Zee’s 'Parrivaar' recently decided to do something new to ease out the frequent bickering and tension between the actors on the sets. Actually an idea of actor Faisal Raza Khan,  the entire team of the soap decided to celebrate Mango Day.

The celebrations actually helped mend bridges between co-stars who were not exactly on talking terms with each other.

Says Faisal, “The rapport among co-stars and the unit members was not that good for a period of time. The continuous tension and bickering made the environment quite bitter. Crew members and actors used to fight and they were given an ultimatum by the production house too. So, we decided to have a mango festival to ease off the tension.”

So, the very next day, all the actors including Deepti Devi, Faisal Raza Khan, Sachin Sharma, Uday Tikekar, Sulbha Arya, Karishma Randhawa etc were told to get mangoes of all varieties to the sets for the celebration.

“We all got more than three kilos of mangoes each to the sets. We had all the varieties too, be it Dusseri, Langda or Alphanso. At the end of it, we had more than 60 kilos of mangoes. We distributed the mangoes to everybody on the sets, including all the crew members and spot boys.”

While the entire unit had a break of one hour and was busy relishing the mangoes, the buzz went on to the next set also. “The shooting of Yahan Ke Hum Sikandar (which airs on Zee Next) was going on the set next to ours. They also came to our sets and had the mangoes. It was also an icing on the cake as the show has just completed 300 episodes,” Faisal adds.
