Swayze gets back to work with TV show

NEW YORK: Actor Patrick Swayze, who was recently diagnosed with cancer and is on his way to recovery, is now set to start production work on his new TV show "The Beast".

Said Bob DiBitetto, executive vice president and general manager of A&E Network: "We're very excited to begin series production on 'The Beast' and even more thrilled to have Patrick on board reprising the role he played so powerfully in the pilot opposite Travis, who is certainly an emerging talent in his own right."

The network also said that Swayze, known for his roles in "Dirty Dancing" and "Ghost", has responded well to treatment and his doctors have given him the go-ahead to resume working", perezhilton.com reported.
