The Padma Shri should be given to more deserving actors
I don't see a reason for why Madhuri has been awarded the Padma Shri. If it had to be awarded to some Bollywood personality than there were so many better options. Madhuri’s contribution to the Indian film scene is not that significant.
The award should be given to someone who leaves a message for the society. I havn’t learned anything from Madhuri.

I feel that Madhuri Dixit deserves the Padma Shri. She has contributed a lot to Indian cinema. Her work is very meaningful and worth appreciating. The Padma Shri should be bestowed upon an individual after considering his or her contribution to a particular field. Madhuri deserves it. In my opinion, Naushad Ali is one musician who really deserved the Padma Shri and he got it too.

M adhuri Dixit hasn't made any substantial contribution to Indian cinema. I agree that a few of her films were really good, but a few hits are not enough. This is an award for a person who does serious work. It’s one thing to award the Padma Shri to Amitabh Bachchan; he deserved it. He has helped Indian cinema gain popularity at an international level.

Very few actors in Bollywood work to make a difference to Indian cinema. Aamir Khan is an exception. He is a perfectionist and aims at entertaining the audience with a diverse range of films. That is why he deserved the award. Madhuri has not attained that level of respect. Why are we talking about Bollywood? There are many others who deserve the award.
