Witherspoon to lend her voice to a giant in an animated movie

LONDON: Oscar winning actress Reese Witherspoon is to lend her voice to a giant in Dreamworks' new animated movie.

Witherspoon will team up with Hugh Laurie, Seth Rogen and Kiefer Sutherland and others to voice quirky characters in Dreamworks' new Monsters versus Aliens film, contactmusic.com reports.

Witherspoon's character, Susan Murphy, becomes a 50-foot monster called Ginormia after she is hit by a meteor from outer space. 

Veteran actor Sutherland voices the character General W.R. Monger. The monsters unite to ward off invading aliens.
