NEW DELHI: In the second such incident within a week, a foreign passenger was killed and three injured when a bus hit them at the Indira Gandhi International airport here. The accident took place late Saturday night when a bus carrying the crew members of an international flight hit the passengers after the driver lost control over the vehicle. The passengers had just arrived at the Terminal 2 of the IGI on a inter-terminal transfer coach and were taking out their luggage from the boot of bus when another bus carrying crew members hit them from behind, they said.

The Ukrainian passenger Mikhialov died while three others were taken to the hospital. The condition of one of them was stated to be serious. The driver of the bus has been arrested.

This is second death at the airport within a week. Last Sunday, a member of the ground handling staff of Jet Airways died after being hit by a DIAL ambulance.
