'PM likely to visit Haryana on June 16'

HISAR: Prime Minsiter Manmohan Singh was likely visit Haryana on June 16 to inaugurate warehouse constructed at a cost of Rs 300 crore in Kaithal.

The Chief Minsiter Bhupinder Singh Hooda told reporters here that the programme of the Prime Minister was being finalised. Therefore, the scheduled of "dhanyavad rally" (thanks giving raly) to be held on June 15 at Adampur could be amended.

In reply to a question on ongoing Gujjar agitation in neighbouring Rajasthan, Hooda said that in Haryana, there was no issue of reservation for Gujjars.

In case the BJP Government in Rajasthan had made any promise to give the Gujjars the status of a Scheduled Tribue, it should fulfill its promise, he said.
