Cyber branch of police traces 18 mobiles

The Cyber Branch of Haryana Police has traced 18 mobile phones, which were reported to be lost by different persons and returned these to their respective owners during this month.

CHANDIGARH: The Cyber Branch of Haryana Police has traced 18 mobile phones, which were reported to be lost by different persons and returned these to their respective owners during this month.

A spokesman of Police Department, Panchkula said here on Saturday that these mobile phones were recovered with the help of different companies of mobile phones.

He said that the Cyber Branch was established in October 2007. It has so far recovered 143 mobile phones valued at Rs 9.8 lakh and returned these to their owners.

He urged the people not to help  any unknown person in gettingt connections of mobile phones on the basis of their own identity cards.

He said that in case of loss of any mobile phone, they should seek help of the Cyber Branch at Panchkula.
