Prime accused in Kavita murder case dies

GHAZIABAD: Prime accused in the Kavita Rani murder case Ravindra Pradhan, who was lodged in Dasna jail here, on Thursday died under mysterious circumstances.
    
Jail superintendent V K Singh said that Pradhan was feeling uneasy due to heavy perspiration and vomiting at about 7.30 pm. He was taken to district hospital where he was declared brought dead by doctors.
    
Pradhan, who was allegedly having an affair with Meerut University lecturer Kavita, was facing trial in connection with her murder in October 2006.
    
Ravindra Pradhan was lodged in a seperate cell in the district jail in February 2007 as his bail was denied by the Allahabad High Court.
    
Four other accused in the case are still in Dasna jail.
