Deshmukh to visit in Nagpur

NAGPUR: Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh will arrive here on Friday on a day's visit to the state's second capital.

He will be in the city in the morning and preside over a meeting and presentation on formulating organic farming policy, an event organised by Ahmednagar-based Mahatam Phule Agriculture University.

The CM will attend another meeting organised by Dr Punjabrao Deshmukh Agriculture University, Akola.

Both the meetings would be held at the College of Agriculture here.

Deshmukh will leave for Mumbai in the afternoon, official sources said.
