Suburban jeweller receives bomb hoax calls

The Mumbai police have registered a case against an unidentified man for making bomb hoax calls at a jeweller's shop.

MUMBAI: The Mumbai police have registered a case against an unidentified man for making bomb hoax calls at a jeweller's shop, police said on Sunday.
 
Uday Kharkare, whose shop is located at Jogeshwari, a suburb in western Mumbai, received a phone call on Saturday afternoon from an unidentified man, saying that a bomb will soon explode at his shop.
 
Kharkare then immediately called the police who searched the entire premises but could not find anything.
 
Following this, a case was registered against the unidentified caller, who also threatened the jeweller of a Jaipur-like blast.
