Sena member takes a dig at 'Rahul for PM' campaign

NEW DELHI: The 'Rahul Gandhi for Prime Ministership' campaign in the Congress today came up in an oblique manner in the Lok Sabha.
     
Former Union Minister Suresh Prabhu, participating in the discussion on the Demands for Grants for the Information and Broadcasting, recalled the veterans who were incharge of the key ministry currently being headed by P R Dasmunsi.
    
"Indira Gandhi was I&B minister, she went on to become Prime Minister. L K Advani was the I&B Minister, he is now the Prime Minister in waiting," said Prabhu, a Shiv Sena member.
    
"I do not want to say anything more as now the place is crowded with many suggestions," he said amid peals of laughter in the House with Dasmunsi too joining in.
