Charging the government with doing very little following the murder, Yadav said only a station house officer had been suspended while the Senior superintendet of police, Etawah, S.R. Aditya has gone scot free.

Referring to the recent attack on the office of SP's Lok Sabha member from Rampur Jaya Prada allegedly by BSP workers, Yadav asked the government to rein in BSP workers from taking law into their hannds.

"In a state which has a woman Chief Minister, the office of a woman MP is being attacked", he said adding the state government should immediately bring a halt to "such anti- social activities being perpetrated by BSP activists".

"The state government should not test the patience of SP workers by indulging in such unlawful activities or else they would be forced to take to the streets to protest against the prevailing lawlessness in the state", he said.

Yadav alleged a large number of SP leaders and workers were being targetted and being implicated in false cases by the state govenrment.
