'Deathly hallows can be split into two films'

SYDNEY: JK Rowling's seventh and final Potter book, The Deathly Hallows, can split into two films, producers David Heyman and David Barron of the Half Blood Prince said.
  
The possibility was not being ruled out, rather it was being  discussed, Mr Barron said, adding, "The announcement will be made hopefully in the not-too-distant future, with regards to the way seven shapes up."
  
The main advantage of splitting the book into two would be that the content would not have to be compressed into just two hours of the screen time.
  
"It would be brilliant not to have to cut anything."
  
"We would have have to be very certain, however, that there  were two proper, stand-alone films that could be generated from the source material," the Daily Telegraph quoted him as saying.
  
On being asked who would direct the final instalment(s), Mr Heyman said, "A couple of people have expressed interest, we have gotten a few calls and a few emails, but it's still a year away."
  
The sixth film, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, will be shot for another three months, and is due for release this November.
