Now the Mercedes C- Class in Ahmedabad

AHMEDABAD: The German auto giant, Mercedes-Benz launched its C-Class model in the city on Saturday.
  
The C-Class model was launched by DaimlerChrysler India Head - Corporate Affairs Suhas Kadlaskar and Cama Motors Chairman Jahangir Cama, who is also an authorised dealer of Mercedes-Benz in Gujarat.
  
The petrol model of the car, which will be available in six different colours, is tagged with basic price of Rs
27.40 lakh, while its diesel model costs Rs 30.40 lakh.
  
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Kadlaskar said, "As pioneers of the luxury car segement in India, Mercedes-Benz has the widest product range and the most extensive sales and support network spread across 28 Indian cities."
  
"The result of close and continuous engagement with customers is reflected through our growing sales figures as well. This year, we achieved record sales of 2,491 units from January-December 2007," he said.
   
Mr Cama said, "The C-Class is a very popular product and enjoys tremendous acceptance amongst our discerning customers.
The new C-Class has already created a lots of excitement in the local market and we are confident that it will delight the fans and customers in this region, just like millions, the world over."
