WASHINGTON: A 6.4 magnitude earthquake on Thursday struck off the Pacific coast of Oregon, the US Geological Survey reported.
The quake was located 246 kilometers west of Winchester Bay on the coast of the northwestern state of Oregon, and 406 kilometers southwest of Portland, the USGS said in a statement.
The earthquake occurred at 5:37 pm (0707 IST Thursday) at a depth of 10 kilometers.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
