SYDNEY: An allergy forced Sachin Tendulkar to practice indoors but the Indian team management assured that the ailment was mild and the master batsman would be fit for the second Test against Australia starting here on Wednesday.

"He did so (practice indoors) because he wanted to make sure that he doesn't aggravate it out in the sun," Indian team's media manager M V Sridhar said.

Tendulkar picked up this allergy in Melbourne where the team lost by a massive 337 runs against the Australians.

Sridhar said Tendulkar would be back to full fitness by this evening.

"He should be absolutely fine by evening. We don't expect him to face any discomfort when he turns out in the second Test," said Sridhar.

The allergy probably has prevented Tendulkar from shaving off his growing stubble in the last few days.
