PANCHKULA: Former South Africa all-rounder Nicky Boje is ready to help Delhi Police in the investigation into the match-fixing scandal of 2000.

"I will be more than happy to cooperate with them in whatever way I can as I have nothing to hide," said Boje, currently playing for Hyderabad Heroes in the ICL's Twenty20 tournament here.

Asked when he would join the investigation, Boje refused to say anything at the moment as he still had commitment with the ICL.

Boje said he was not found guilty by the Kings Commission which looked into the matter.

"The fact is that Herschelle Gibbs was found guilty and fined for it. The Commission never found me guilty and that's why I was not banned," said the player, who is in India for the first time after the scandal came to light in 2000.

Boje denied report which appeared in a section of the media on Friday which said he had leveled allegations of match-fixing against Gibbs.

"I only stated the factual position and all that what is on record. I never directly leveled any allegations against Herschelle," Boje said on the sidelines of his team's net practice here.

He said he received support from ICL and its Executive Board Chairman Kapil Dev after Delhi Police sent the notice.

Asked whether he avoided Indian tours intentionally to escape the investigation, Boje said it was the decsion of the South African Cricket Board not to send him on the team's first tour to India after the incident.

"During the next tour for the ICC Champions Trophy, I was not selected. I never avoided any Indian tour intentionally," said Boje.

Delhi Police on Wednesday issued a notice to Boje to make himself available for the probe in his alleged involvement in the match fixing scandal which rocked the cricketing world in 2000.
