MUMBAI: Global interest in Indian culture has led a multiplayer gaming company popularise the Hindu style of wedding, especially amongst its online foreign customers.

"We see many foreign tourists, especially from the West, moving in Indian attires. Many are even learning traditional Indian languages like Sanskrit. This motivated us to popularise our culture further by introducing an online game dedicated to the Hindu style of wedding," Games2win.com CEO and founder Ashok Kejriwal told here.

"We receive a lot of international traffic on a daily basis, hence consumers from abroad will be intrigued by this game and will definitely have a blast playing it. Who knows someone somewhere will actually decide to get married in this way," Kejriwal said.

The game explores some of the events surrounding marriages today. It is a narrative right from the girl and boy talking on the phone for the first time to the wedding reception.

"Marriage is one of the most sacred Indian traditions. Different religions celebrate marriage in different ways. We have carefully selected some of the most common traditions and highlighted them in this game," Kejriwal said.

The game has seven levels. Each level sports a different game-play mechanic, starting from question and answers in the first level which is the Phone Call, level 2 is the First Date level where selecting the right outfit becomes important.
