KANPUR: Joining the campaign for polio eradication in the country, Indian pacer RP Singh presented a bat, signed by the entire cricket squad, to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati.

The bat was the team's contribution to UNICEF's 'Bowl Out Polio' campaign.

It had a message from the entire side, which read, "We desire to see all the children of India running and playing. Let's bowl out polio."

After presenting the bat to Mayawati, RP Singh said, "We hope that all the parents and everyone associated with polio eradication programme would make this project a success. I hope to see polio bowled out from Uttar Pradesh soon."
