MUMBAI: Brother of Bollywood star Aamir Khan, Faisal, on Wednesday filed an application before a magistrate's court seeking that his statement be recorded by the court since it has not been done till now.

In the application filed by his lawyer, Faisal has alleged that his personal liberty had been infringed due to allegations by Aamir, his mother Zeenat and sister Nikhat.

Faisal has also stated that the medical report submitted to the court yesterday is suspect and will be challenged in a higher court later.

The report submitted by the psychiatric ward of the JJ Hospital in south Mumbai, where Faisal had been kept under observation since October 16, stated that the actor was suffering from schizo-affective psychosis.

The actor has stated in the application that he is willing to stay with his father and not his brother Aamir.

The court will decide on the application and may give its order on Faisal's custody later in the day.

Faisal had been produced before the magistrate's court on October 16 after his mother filed a missing persons complaint. His brother Aamir and father, Tahir Hussain, are presently seeking his custody.
