Punjab govt is discriminatory against SC IAS officers : Buta

JALANDHAR: Chairman of the National Commission for Scheduled Castes Buta Singh on Thursday accused the Punjab Government of being discriminatory towards scheduled caste IAS officers.
    
Talking to reporters here on Thursday Singh claimed that the Commission had received several complaints against the state government appointing junior general category officers above scheduled caste IAS officers Singh and said it would act on these complaints.
    
Some forces are trying to deny the Dalits their constitutional rights but the Commission would not let that happen at any cost, he said.
