PDP threatens to end alliance

SRINAGAR: The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) said on Friday it would review its relationship with the Congress if its demands on various issues are not met.

President Mehbooba Mufti said, “We cannot put a time-frame on it. It is a continuous process which is reviewed periodically.”

Mehbooba said at a recent meeting a majority of PDP leaders authorised party patron and former CM Mufti Mohd Sayeed to take a decision on reviewing the working relation with the Congress in Jammu and Kashmir’s ruling coalition.
