HYDERABAD: Science and Technology Minister Kapil Sibal on Monday steered clear of any comments on the Indo-US nuclear deal, saying the Prime Minister and Congress President have made their position clear on the issue.

"I think the Prime Minister (Manmohan Singh) and the Congress President (Sonia Gandhi) were extremely careful in their choice of words. I neither wish to add to nor take anything away from them," Sibal told reporters here when asked whether India has dumped the deal.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh recently asserted that he would not put the government at stake over the nuclear deal.

"If the deal does not come through, it will be disappointing. But in life, one has to live with certain disappointments and move on to the next ... We have a lot of unfinished business to complete," Singh had said at a conference in New Delhi last week.
