Walkathon organised on World Arthritis Day

MUMBAI: To mark the World Arthritis Day, Mumbai based Dignity Foundation will organize a walkathon at Bandra Sea Link, off Bandra Reclamation, on October 14.
  
Almost 1000 people from all walks of society including arthritis patients are expected to participate in the event.
  
Arthritis refers to a group of over 100 different conditions. It is common after the age of 50, but can affect younger people as well. The cause could either be genetic or a weak immune system.
