Two policemen injured in militants attack in Doda

JAMMU: Two policemen were injured when militants attacked a police party in a village in Doda district on Monday, police sources said.
    
A police party, which was on way from Sunarthala to Thanala in Doda, were fired upon by militants in the forenoon, they said adding police also returned the fire and the exchange between two sides continued for some time.
    
Two policemen sustained injuries in the exchange of fire, they said adding they have been rushed to nearby hospital for treatment.
    
Meanwhile, police and security forces have been rushed to the area to track down the militants.
