MUMBAI: Board of Cricket for Control in India (BCCI) President Sharad Pawar said on Saturday that the Indian cricket team is doing well even without a foreign coach.
  
"Our boys have defeated South Africa, England, Pakistan even without a foreign coach which means that the present team is doing well," said Mr Pawar.
  
"Our performance is quite good and today I received a call from Indian cricket coach Lalchand Rajput and captain Mahendrasingh Dhoni and their confidence was quite high and they are sure of winning the World Cup by collective effort," said Mr Pawar.
  
India is taking on Australia in the semi-final of Twenty-Twenty World Cup tonight.
