BANGALORE: Imran Khan, one of two suspects in the bomb blasts in Hyderabad, underwent narco-analysis for the second time here as authorities attempted to get more information from him about the attacks, a top official of the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) said on Wednesday.

"Imran was subjected to narco-analysis for the second time at Bowring Hospital, where narco tests are usually conducted and the procedure lasted three hours," FSL Director B M Mohan told.

Refusing to give details of the revelations made by Khan, he said a second test had to be conducted on gim since the first test on September 4 was incomplete and "there was a lot of information which had to be elicited from him".

The other suspect, Rafiq, will undergo a second narco- test, Mohan said, but declined to say when it would be held.

The duo, suspected to be aides of Bangladeshi national Mohammad Sharifuddin alias Hamza, the alleged mastermind behind the blasts, were brought to Bangalore on September 4 by a Special Investigative Team (SIT) from Hyderabad for narco analysis tests.

The blasts on August 25 killed 42 people and injured dozens more.
