Honda Siel launches new variant of Honda City

NEW DELHI: Japanese car maker Honda Siel on Tuesday introduced a new variant of its flagship sedan Honda City at a starting price of Rs 6.80 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Honda City's new model comes at a premium of Rs 3,000 across all models. The car is presently being sold in a range of Rs 6.77 lakh to Rs 8 lakh.

"Our customers will get extended features at a very small price. We have added various safety and luxury features on the Honda City as per customer's feedback," Honda Siel Cars India President and CEO Masahiro Takedagawa told here.
   
The company launched the variant to commemorate 10 years of its presence in the country.

It has so far sold 1,96,000 units of Honda City since its launch in January 1998.

HSCI would also provide an optional leather pack on the top-end variant of the car which has been priced at Rs 8.65 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
