BHOPAL: To demand implementation of Sachhar panel recommendations, the CPI (M) will hold a meeting here on September 8.
More than 300 delegates would take part in the meeting. Apart from the Sachhar panel report, issues concerning welfare of minorities will also be discussed, Coordinator of CPI (M)'s committee for implementing the report Afaq Ahmed and state secretary Pramod Pradhan told here on Monday.
The CPI (M) will organise such meetings in all the states and the scheduled meeting in Bhopal is part of it, they said.
The party alleged that attack on minorities has increased in the state "as part of the RSS agenda in connivance with the state machinery".
"This was amply clear with the fact that police instead of acting against the attackers, is troubling the minority community," Pradhan alleged.
They claimed that the minorities feel totally insecure under the BJP rule in the state and their condition in the front of education, employment and development has further deteriorated.
