Air passengers fined for misplacing bags

KOLKATA: Two air passengers were on Tuesday fined for being careless with their bags at the NSC Bose International airport.

The finding of the bags in the lounge and toilet led to a cordon being thrown around the areas by CISF personnel, who are in charge of security of the airport, and the bomb disposal squad being called in, airport sources said.

The two passengers, who came forward to reclaim their bags, were questioned before being let off to board their flights.

They were fined Rs 200 each for being careless, the sources added.
