Maharashtra ATS chief promoted, 14 officers transferred

MUMBAI: The Maharashtra government on Wednesday promoted the state's Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) chief K P Raghuvanshi to the rank of additional DGP, while 14 police officers have been transferred.

Raghuvanshi would, however, continue to head the ATS. Fourteen SP-level officers have also been transferred, an official in the Deputy Chief Minister's office said.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Nagpur) Anitesh Kumar has been shifted to Solapur Rural. Beed SP Santosh Rastogi has been transferred to Thane city.

Mumbai DCP Manoj Lohia has been shifted to Parbhani in Central Maharashtra, the official said.
