"He plans to bring out his autobiography soon. He has already finished 750 pages of it," his lawyer Milind Pawar said.
Telgi was recently sentenced to rigorous imprisonment for 13 years in one of the fake stamp cases.
Telgi, who has been working on his autobiography, will give details about his early life and how he got involved in the fake stamp business upon meeting Ramratan Soni while in the custody of Mumbai police sometime in the early nineties.
The lawyer said some part of the autobiography would also be devoted on his relationship with co-accused in the Yerawada Central Jail here, how he contracted HIV infection (Telgi alleges he was injected the virus) and on the developments leading to his agreeing to plead guilty in the Bund Garden fake stamp case in the last week of June.
Special Judge Chitra K Bhedi, who has now relinquished the charge on her transfer to Mumbai city civil and sessions court, will also find a mention in the autobiography, for which he has asked Pawar to find a good publisher.
Meanwhile, 'Mudrank, The Stamp' a film whose script is inspired by the fake stamp business, is ready for release in August but an application by Telgi for stay, has put a question mark on its early premiere.
The producer and director of the film had presented themselves before the judge last week and were given time until July nine for filing their replies to the notice by the Special MCOCA Court.
