Book on Afzal's petition released

NEW DELHI: A book titled 'The Afzal Petition: A Quest for Justice' was released today as part of an ongoing campaign by human rights activists in support of clemency petition of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru to the President.

The book makes available to the public domain the petition sent by Afzal to the President containing legal and political arguments advanced by him to prove that he was never given an opportunity to defend himself.
