Delhi court stops police inquiry into BMW case

NEW DELHI: The police inquiry into the TV expose allegedly showing collusion between the prosecution and defence in the BMW case has been stopped by a Delhi Court.

Additional Sessions Judge Vinod Kumar recalled the police inquiry saying that the Delhi High Court has already taken cognizance of the sting operation.

The decision in this regard was taken in the proceedings that took place in the Judge's chamber.

Sources said the court took into account the High Court's Thursday's order in which it had sought placing of all documents relating to the case and unedited copy of the CD containing the sting operation.
