IIT-Bombay at Powai will host the final rounds of ScientificA, a science and technology championship. About 2,500 students from Mumbai, Pune, Panchgani, Solapur and Srirampur are expected to converge at the campus on June 2 and 3.

These students have graduated from the first round of the competition, which was held in March this year. Competition was stiff as over 10,000 students from five cities across the state had participated then.

Aakar Knowledge Solutions, a Mumbai-based educational research consultancy firm launched ScientificA 2007, in March this year. Braingym, the first phase of the competition was conducted in multiple auditoriums over a period of two months. The second level of the competition, Technomaze, will be held on June 2.
