NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will declare its Class 10 examination results for Delhi, Guwahati, Panchkula and Allahabad regions on Tuesday.

The results for Ajmer and Chennai regions were declared on Monday.

Over 700,000 candidates from 7,658 schools had appeared for the Class 10 examination both in India and abroad - an increase of 8.11 per cent over last year.

CBSE had set up 2,490 examination centres, including 49 for foreign schools, for the smooth conduct of the examination.

"CBSE is hosting its results on the Internet with technical support from the National Informatics Centre (NIC). Schools can get the entire results by giving their school code and e-mail id," said CBSE Controller of Examinations M.C. Sharma.

Students can also access their results from websites like www.cbseresults.nic.in, www.cbse.nic.in, www.results.nic.in and http://mtnldelhi.in across the country.

The board has made arrangements to disseminate the results through the Internet, mobile phones, landline and an interactive voice response system, Sharma said.

Mobile service providers will also deliver the results to individual candidates through SMS: MTNL (2001), Hutch (12310), Airtel (64601), Idea (456), Reliance (1234) and Tata Indicom (8282).
