About 100 protestors blocked the rail track at 11:15 am raising slogans against the Dera Chief. The police however successfully pursuaded them off the track in half an hour.

LUDHIANA: Scores of Sikh activists on Tuesday blocked the busy Ludhiana-New Delhi rail route to protest Dera Sacha Sauda Chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim's alleged insult to Sikh Guru Gobind Singh.
About 100 protestors blocked the rail track at 11:15 am raising slogans against the Dera Chief. The police however successfully pursuaded them off the track in half an hour.
However, a railway official said the services were not disrupted despite the protest.
