Three pavement dwellers killed

MUMBAI: Three pavement dwellers were killed and two injured after a private bus ran over them in a northwest suburb in the wee hours on Sunday, police said.

The private bus mowed down the people sleeping on the pavement at the side of Western Experess highway in Dahisar at 3 am.

The driver of the bus has fled from the scene of the accident while the injured have been admitted to the nearby Bhagwati hospital, police added.
