LUCKNOW: The first six results of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections have gone in favour of the BSP.

The party led by Maywati won the Ajitmal, Auraiya and Bidhuna seats where its candidates Ashok Dohare, Shekhar Tewari and Vinay Shakya defeated their nearest Samajwadi Party rivals, reports reaching here said.

Samajwadi Party has won in eight seats, BJP in four seats and independents in three seats.
