Nithari killings: CBI told to file objections on petition

A CBI court told the Central Bureau of Investigations to file objections, if any, regarding an application moved by a lawyer seeking copy of the chargesheet.

GHAZIABAD: A CBI court here on Saturday asked the Central Bureau of Investigations to file objections, if any, regarding an application moved by a lawyer seeking copy of the chargesheet filed against the accused in the Nithari children killing case.

CBI special court magistrate Sapna Mishra gave the order while hearing a petition filed by the lawyer Khalid Khan who had appealed the court to direct the CBI to make available the copies of the chargesheet to the victims' families.

Chargesheet have been filed against the accused Moninder Singh Pandher, Surinder Kohli and Simranjeet Kaur.

CBI may file its objections on May 9 when the Nithari accused will appear in the court, sources said.
