GHAZIABAD: A special CBI court on Friday reserved its orders on the petition by parents of three victims of the Nithari serial killings against the probe agency for letting off the main accused Moninder Singh Pandher.

Additional District Judge Rama Jain, hearing the petition of the parents of Payal (22), Pinki Sarkar (14) and Payal (14), deferred the matter till May 7.

Counsel for the three Khalid Khan argued that the CBI excluding Pandher's name in the chargesheet relating to rape and murder of the victims was 'lawfully and factually wrong'.

He has filed the 'protest petition' under section 173 (2) (ii) of CrPC which deals with action taken by investigating officer/agency on the basis of information on commission of the offence.

At least 17 human skulls and bones were dug up from near the house of Pandher in Noida's Sector 31 in December last year.

Koli is reported to have confessed to most of the crimes while the agency has not charged Pandher with the kidnapping and murder of the children and women, including Payal, an alleged sex worker, and the two girls Pinki and Payal.
