NEW DELHI: Delhi Police will question four Parliamentarians named by a suspect in the alleged human trafficking racket that has come to light after the arrest of BJP MP Babubhai Katara.

The police have decided to issue summonses to four MPs -- BJP's Ramswarup Koli and three BSP members Mitrasen Yadav, Mohammad Tahir Khan and Ashok Rawat -- in connection with the investigation of the alleged human trafficking racket.

"After going through the travel details provided by the Foreign Residents Registration Office (FRRO), we have decided to summonses the MPs for questioning," a senior police official said.

The FRRO, which handles matters related to diplomatic passports, had been roped in to help cull the travel information of the Parliamentarians.

Special teams of the Crime Branch are continuing with their raids in Delhi, Punjab, Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh.

The police was investigating the involvement of various travel agents in the different places with the human trafficking case. Police said there appeared to be a 'closely-knit' group of travel agents who were involved in the racket.

Delhi police had sent teams to Punjab, Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat to investigate the case.
