Hrithik Roshan brand ambassador for Sony Ericsson

BANGALORE: Mobile handset maker Sony Ericsson on Thursday named Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan as its brand ambassador for India and SAARC countries.

Hrithik will be endorsing all Sony Ericsson products as part of the company's marketing initiatives, a company statement said.

As brand ambassador, he will play a key role in further strengthening the brand's connect with the local audience in India and in enhancing brand recall and popularity to fuel business growth, the statement added.
