New Delhi, March 28 (IANS) Former Rajya Sabha member DP Yadav's daughter Bhavna Yadav on Wednesday denied in a Delhi court that her sister Bharti Yadav was close to slain youth Nitish Katara, allegedly killed by her brother Vikash Yadav and others for his proximity with Bharti.

"I have some photographs of Bharti with other friends showing that she had no special relationship with Nitish. I can produce the photographs in the court, if they are not exposed to the media," Bhavna said.

Deposing before Additional Sessions Judge Ravinder Kaur, she denied that Bharti had any relationship with Katara, which could have culminated into marriage.

Following deposition by Bhavna, the judge directed her to submit those photographs on March 30.

Concluding her deposition, Bhavna also denied that Bharti's relations with Vikas were strained due to her alleged closeness to Katara.

Katara, son of an IAS officer, was murdered on the night of Feb 16-17, 2002, in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, where he had gone to attend a marriage.
