Sky Bus at Thane?

The saffron alliance released its manifesto for the Thane Municipal Corporation elections on Tuesday.

Shiv Sena MLA and district unit chief Eknath Shinde said, “We have demanded Rs42 crore as aid for flood-affected people in 2005. The state sanctioned the funds, but they never came. The Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation got all that was demanded post-26/7 deluge because the Congress and NCP rule there,” Shinde said.

Shiv Sena MP Prakash Pranjape said, “We undertook many projects during the last five years and completed majority of them. Many vital projects are in the pipeline.”

The manifesto promises a hi-tech transport system, a Sky Bus service, a flyover from Thackeray Square Majiwada Naka to Kapurbavdi and a sports complex.
