NASIK: A case has been filed against three employees of ICICI Bank in connection with the death of a 54-year-old state transport mechanic in the bank's premises here, reported police on Sunday.

Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation employee Suresh Rangnath Chaudhari died in the premises of the ICICI Home Loan branch in the busy Sharanpur Road locality on Saturday after a bout of vomiting and giddiness.

A case was filed against bank recovery officer Vijay Nair along with Neelesh Pagare and Ravi Gaekwad under sections 304 and 34 of the IPC.

It was filed on the basis of a complain by Chaudhari's son Yogesh, who alleged that his father died due to pressure on him to repay a loan of Rs 1.8 lakh, out of which he had already repaid one lakh.

Yogesh, in his complaint, alleged harassment by the bank officials resulting in his father's death.
While Gaekwad has been detained for interrogation last night, Nair and Pagare are absconding.
