Bank robbery in Bihar

GAYA: Armed miscreants looted Rs 10.89 lakh from a rural bank in Bihar's Gaya district on Friday, police sources said.

Five gunmen, who came on two motorcycles, stormed the Konch branch of the Madhya Bihar Gramin Kshetriya Bank in the district at 10:30 am, locked its manager and employees in a room and looted Rs 10,89,840 from the cash counters, sources said.

Raids continued at different places to apprehend the looters and recover the money, they added.
